To Hell with the 48 Laws of Power!

I heard a discussion of the "48 Laws of Power" on the radio. After the show I ran the google query "48 Laws of Power" and read a summary of those laws. I found them offensive, but unfortunately the behavior was all too familiar to me from my experiences in the corporate world.

I now offer a rebuttal. We only need two laws of power to develop policy, engage in business or just get along with friends and family to be effective leaders.

• Love them and need them not.  It doesn't matter if they don't love you, or if they are behaving badly.
• Design policy, business practices, and conduct oneself with friends and family so everyone wins.
